3.Specificity: White crystal or powder; odorless; taste salty; slightly deliquescence; readily soluble in water or glycerin, almost insoluble in ethanol (Relative density 1.98). It will melt and decompose when heated to 230 )

5. Uses:
In food processing industry, it is used as buffer, chelate agent, stabilizer, antibiotic oxidizer, emulsifier, flavor regular. Used in dairy product jellies ,jam, meat, tinned, pastry. Used as emulsifier in cheese and used in citrus freshening. In pharmaceutical, it is used for curing hypokalimia, potassium depletion and alkalization of urine.

7.Storage and transport: Kept in tightly-closed containers. It should be stored in a cool, ventilative and dry warehouse, kept away from moisture and hot. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substance, handled with care, so as to avoid damage to bags.
